Each active climate rule can be expanded to reveal two tabs: Units and Notification Rules.
Units tab
The Units tab shows every sensor assigned to this rule. For each sensor you can see:
- Unit Name and sensor type (for example, Humidity or Lux)
- Site / Area the sensor belongs to
- Current State: live readings, colour-coded against the rule's thresholds. Yellow means the reading is in the warning zone, between the optimal and critical bounds; red means it has breached a critical bound; readings within the optimal range appear without colour.
- Notification: whether a notification rule is attached to that sensor. Sensors covered by a notification rule show a green Notification Rule badge; those without show No notification rules. This makes it easy to spot sensors that would not trigger an alert if their readings went out of range.
Filter the list by Unit Name or Site / Area using the dropdown arrows in the column headers.
If a sensor shows no current state reading, it may not measure the metrics this rule monitors. A lux sensor, for example, will not show a temperature reading.
Notification Rules tab
The Notification Rules tab lists every notification rule attached to this climate rule. Each one shows an Active status and its name.
From here you can:
- Edit Rule: reopen the notification setup wizard to change recipients, channels, schedule, thresholds, or target units. See Setting up notifications for a rule for the full walkthrough.
- Delete rule: permanently remove that notification rule.
- + Create notification rule: add another notification rule to this climate rule. A single climate rule can have several notification rules, for example one for daytime SMS alerts and another for email at all hours.
